Hannay Reels feels blessed and is extremely grateful with the nearly 20% rise in volume this year compared to the same 5-month period in 2017. The only downside to this successful surge in orders has been the short term affect on product lead times. Hannay is in the process of additional hiring, more overtime and larger material purchases. And even then, some of Hannay’s vendors have struggled to keep up with the increased demand.
While adjustments are being made to address the issues, please note that generally speaking, lead times on catalog reels are running on average of 3 to 5 business days longer than was typical at the start of 2018. For reels that run through Hannay’s large reel custom shop (such as the spoked-disc aviation and heavy-duty jetter reels), lead times are now running at least a full week longer.
If you have any questions about current expected lead times specific to your own reel model(s), do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at 1.800.451.4021!

Between January 1, 2017 and January 10, 2018, Graco 110225 ball valves were not manufactured correctly by Graco’s supplier!
The incorrect valves do not have a vent hole, and as a result will not vent pressure when turned to the closed position. Air pressure can then become trapped downstream of the valve potentially causing serious injury due to unexpected movement of equipment.

Inspect the valves and packages for the incorrect valve
You must REMOVE or QUARANTINE the incorrect valve
If you can not remove the valve from use immediately, it is extremely critical that you find a method to relieve trapped air pressure before cleaning, inspecting or servicing the equipment
Contact us at 1.800.451-4021 to replace the incorrect valves
A warranty claim will be created
the incorrect valves must be returned to Graco to receive credit for the incorrect valves

The EPA has established new minimum training requirements for designated Class A, Class B, and Class C operators to ensure that those who own and operate regulated underground storage tanks understand how to operate and maintain their UST systems properly. The federal regulations dictate that all operators must be trained by October 13, 2018.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root is committed to maintaining service and support for all their solutions for the full extent of their hardware lifecycles. This support continues until they can no longer provide spare parts, or when significant technological advances dictate otherwise.
The Passport PX52 (PX51) hardware set was released in 2005 and has served thousands of Gilbarco Veeder-Root customers with fourteen major Passport releases and millions of hours of store operation. The PX60 Passport All-In-One hardware was introduced as the next evolution in April 2014 and sold across all petroleum/convenience networks and markets over the past three years.
Support for the PX52 (PX51) hardware set will be discontinued starting with Version 11.02 (Release 4) and all subsequent releases. This release is currently scheduled for production release starting March 2018.
