60 Hz Pump Selection Guide

 

 

While the 60 Hz Pump Selection Guide doesn’t cover every conceivable configuration you may run into, it covers 5 major system factors to help you determine the right pump for your application.

  1. Find the system layout that best represents your application using the dispenser count, pipework diameter, and visual pipework layout guide.
  2. Review the common system characteristics.
  3. Select the appropriate pump to achieve optimal flow rates for the number of nozzles operating simultaneously (recommendation highlighted in green).
  4. Review the pump recommendation explanation.
  5. Choose the specific pump model from options including base, bio-fuel compatible, and advanced protection models.

 

 

Typical systems in the guide cover configurations from 4 dispensers using 1-3/4″ piping, up to 8 dispensers using 2″ piping in both parallel and series layouts.

  • Available in models compatible with both Gilbarco Encore® dispensers and Wayne Ovation® dispensers.
  • Dispenser top and top frame are joined together prior to leaving the factory saving field installation time

 

SINGLE WALL SUMPS

  • New Light Resin Transfer Molding (Light RTM) technology used to manufacture single wall sumps gives them consistent wall thickness throughout the entire assembly for superior rigidity as well as an extremely smooth surface to facilitate watertight entry boot installation.
  • Gilbarco Encore® DEF sump option available with two-sump design.

Franklin Fueling Systems has a new interactive and electronic version of the Defender Series® Overfill Prevention Valve Installation Worksheet that you can download here.  This worksheet can be downloaded and completed by typing values and calculations directly into the form. It does not automatically perform the calculations but does provide typical values in some of the fields that can be adjusted in accordance with local regulations.  You can then save the completed worksheet as a digital file or print it out for a clean and legible worksheet.

There is also a step-by-step inspection guide and checklist.
