TLS-450PLUS and TLS4 Series Consoles

Purpose

This document announces the release of version 10.B software for the TLS-450PLUS and TLS4 series consoles.

Performance Enhancements

Intelligent Pump Control Reports
• Advanced Diagnostics Reporting for Intelligent Pump Control (IPC) for Red Jacket STPs. IPC collects statistical data from pump controllers that includes daily run time, start count, number of help requests, faults, fault counts, time in a fault condition, min/max/average (running) voltage and amperage.

Ongoing Improvements
• Version 10.B includes miscellaneous bug fixes and updates.

Software Upgrade Kit – TLS-450PLUS, TLS4 Series Consoles

Software upgrades are always free to download on the Veeder-Root website at veeder.com/us/software-downloads.

Software upgrades can also be ordered on a USB Flash drive at no charge by ordering the software kit part number
in the table below:

Mag Plus In-Tank Probe Installation Kits EOL

Veeder–Root is committed to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers. As the world leader in the development of fueling system technology, we view product End of Life (EOL) as part of the natural cycle that drives technology evolution.
Therefore, effective immediately we are obsoleting:
• All 3” float kits
• 2” float kits with cable lengths 10’ and 20’
• 4” float kits with cable lengths 10’ and 20’
If a 10’ or 20’ probe cable is required, the cable may be purchased as a spare part.
Due to lower demand of these installation kits, it is no longer feasible to support these going forward.

Transition Details

For customers currently using a 3” float kit, we recommend transitioning to a 2” float kit which is compatible with the Mag Plus Probe. Mag Plus Installation Kits will come standard with a 5’ cable. If a longer cable is required, it must be purchased separately.

Course Overview: This class offers technicians the opportunity to obtain or renew factory certification necessary to perform installation, startup, repair, and maintenance of the select Pneumercator products listed below.

Recommended Experience/Education: All attendees should have some prior experience with the installation and
maintenance of electronic tank gauging and leak detection systems, including general knowledge of NEC/NFPA electrical code requirements, and more specifically, hazardous location classified installation and wiring requirements and safety procedures.

Required Materials: A computer with internet access. Webcam optional. Dial up voice support provided via telephone number upon signing into webinar. Groups may share a computer but a larger screen (i.e. projector, large TV, etc.) is recommended.

OMNTEC’s FREE ASC training is a web-based course including an exam that can be completed at your own pace. The training presentation is live and hosted through Zoom. The course is roughly 2.5 hours long.

Once you register for December’s session, you will receive an email with links to documents you can reference during the training session and the certification.

The Zoom meeting link will be sent out the Friday before the training session. Upon completion of both the training and exam, you will be provided a certificate and a wallet card that will be emailed directly to you.

Franklin Fueling Systems EVO Electronic Line Leak Detection

PRECISION LINE LEAK DETECTION

Electronic Line Leak Detection (ELLD) is a pressure-based system that uses line information to monitor changes in pressure. It determines if a line is tight or if there is a leak and will provide 3.0 gph hourly, 0.2 gph monthly, and 0.1 gph annual precision line leak detection.

AUTO-LEARN® Technology

AUTO-LEARN® technology automatically learns the pressure characteristics of each pipeline, eliminating the need to manually enter pipe lengths and diameters and removing the potential for human error.

Statistical Line Leak Detection

For high-throuhput sites, Statistical Line Leak Detection (SLLD) allows busy sites with high fuel sales volume and very few quiet periods of no dispensing to achieve 0.2 gph leak testing.

High Throughput Capacity

ELLD is capable of monitoring up to approximately 312 gallons of rigid piping capacity in addition to up to 95 gallons of flexible piping capacity, allowing larger sites to achieve precision leak detection.

HOW IT WORKS

Electronic Line Leak Detection (ELLD) is an optional software feature available on EVO™ 550, EVO™ 5000, EVO™ 600, and EVO™ 6000, that allows you to connect your fuel management system with your pipework system to detect leaks through a transducer device installed in the submersible pump.

Transducer Kits

A TS-LS500 transducer kit which plugs into the submersible. These are available in 2-, 3- or 4-line kits with cables included.

EVO™ Series ATG

EVO™ 550, EVO™ 5000, EVO™ 600, and EVO™ 6000, with the TS-ELLD software option, a TS-420 input module, a TS-ACI input module, and a TS-RLY Relay module or Turbine Pump Interface (TPI).

Submersible Pump

A submersible pump designed to obtain and hold a minimum static pressure of 15 psi for gross leak testing, 18 psi for precision testing, and 20 psi for learning the lines.

The CLD Series Sump Tester is available in one to eight probe versions. Each system is conveniently stored in a durable case equipped with wheels for ease and accessibility. Pull up, set up, and test in as quick as 15 minutes. Results print out and can be stored internally.
